I’m a huge supporter of Mastin Labs and I cannot wait to see what other replication they plan on doing in the future. The Mastin Lab presets are based on scans from the legendary Fuji Frontier scanner. They are really good and give me the opportunity to closely match my digital files to the look of scans from my lab. A fellow wedding photographer told me about Mastin Labs. The images looked somewhat like film, but it wasn't quite there for me. I wasn't wanting the hipster style of editing associated with VSCO today, it's too clich. So if your camera is set on JPG then I suggest switching to RAW to take advantage of these film replication. I am a big fan of the Mastin Lab presets. Unfortunately VSCO didn't quite hit the nail on the head with their presets in my opinion. The presets are also intended to be used with RAW/DNG files.
